Who we are
Reno Heat & Air (renoheatandair.com) is a trade name of AuthenitcBrand, LLC, a Nevada company. We are an independent referral service: we connect homeowners in Reno, Sparks and the rest of Washoe County with independent, third-party heating and air-conditioning contractors. We do not repair, install or service HVAC equipment ourselves.
Information we collect
- Information you submit. When our request form is open, it asks for your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or neighborhood, and a description of the heating or cooling problem.
- Text-message consent. If you tick the optional box agreeing to receive text messages, we record that consent, the phone number it applies to, the wording you agreed to, and the date and time.
- Call information. If you call a tracked phone number shown on this site, our call-tracking provider logs the calling number, the time and the call length so we can route the call and count leads. See "Call recording" below.
- Information collected automatically. Pages visited, approximate location (city or region), device and browser type, and the site that referred you, collected by analytics tools.
As of the date above, the request form is not yet accepting submissions and no tracked phone number is live on this site. This policy describes how that information will be handled once they are.
How we use it
- To match your request with an independent, licensed HVAC contractor serving your address.
- To contact you about that request by phone, email, or text message if you agreed to texts.
- To keep records of consent, including text-message consent, as the law requires.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
How we share it: to fulfill your request, never sold
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for anyone's marketing. The one disclosure this service depends on: when you submit a request, we pass the details you gave us, including your phone number, to the specific independent contractor (or contractors) needed to respond to that request. That is a fulfillment disclosure, not a sale or a list rental. If your request is later routed to a different contractor than the one first named to you, that contractor will not send you automated marketing messages without your fresh consent naming them.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third party.
Service providers that help us run the site (hosting, form processing, call tracking, analytics) process information on our behalf and only to provide that service.
Text messages (SMS)
If you agree to receive text messages, Reno Heat & Air and the contractor matched to your request may text you about that request: confirming the match, scheduling, and follow-up. Message frequency varies with your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never required to submit a request or use this site. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Full program terms are in our Terms of Service.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure which pages are visited, how visitors arrive (including from search engines and AI assistants), and whether a call or request was started. These tools do not receive your name, phone number or email address. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers an opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics.
This site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to serve and protect the site. Cloudflare may also load its Web Analytics script, which measures page views and loading speed without using cookies. Cloudflare processes that data under its own privacy policy.
Call recording
Nevada requires the consent of every party before a telephone call is recorded. If a phone number on this site is ever set up to record or transcribe calls, the call will open with a spoken notice that it may be recorded, and calls will not be recorded without the consent Nevada law requires. As of the date above, no phone number on this site is live and no calls are recorded.
How long we keep it
We keep request and consent records for as long as needed to handle your request, to show consent if it is ever questioned, and to meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards suited to a small referral business, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and reputable hosting and form providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
- Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, through the contact page.
Children
This site is for adults arranging home heating and cooling service. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how text-message consent is handled will not apply to consent given before the change.
